Maestros and Candy, Anita

Hector and Silvina have been precious mentors in the Tango journey of Candy and Anita, who seek to study with the Maestros during their visits to Argentina. As Tango teachers, Hector and Silvina offer succinct, well-structured illustrations of various important topics—the firm grasp of sacada of Anita and Candy is the result of such guidance. The Maestros teach with clarity, subtlety and patience, and their teaching has helped Candy and Anita to achieve greater freedom in their improvisation in Tango.

The dance of Hector and Silvina flows with perfect fluidity: their body movements are relax and powerful at the same time, in an intricate showcase of the dynamic between male and female in Tango. The debut workshop of Hector and Silvina in Hong Kong sets out to introduce new, innovative concepts in body movements in Tango.

Musicality is a major strength of the Maestros’. The Maestros’ Musicality class will be a highlight in the upcoming workshop, where students can learn from Hector and Silvina on how to deliver their feeling of rhythm in sleek, diverse and spontaneous expressions.

Since the Maestros’ debut workshop in March 2011, Candy and Anita have invited Hector and Silvina to come to Hong Kong again. Hong Kong will be the only stop in Asia during the Maestros’ two-month world tour of performance and teaching. We hope our fellow Tango lovers will seize this opportunity to hone their dance.
